Customer Needed Attic Insulation Added to a Garage Because Lack of Insulation

A homeowner reached out to us because their garage was hot in the summer, and very cold in the winter. After an inspection of the attic insulation in the garage area, we discovered that the garage did not have insulation.

Cause: Lacking attic insulation in the garage.

Our Resolution:  We air sealed the garage attic. We then added baffles for attic ventilation, installed attic measuring markers and finally added R30 to the garage attic system. This will keep the garage warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.
