Insulation Removal for 1800 sqft Due to Rodents

This week we were contacted by a homeowner due to a rodent infestation. We were able to meet the homeowner on site and inspect the attic and attic insulation. Upon inspection, we witnessed several live and active rats.

The customer was able to complete the rodent exclusion and after 2 weeks, we were were able to complete the attic refresh.

Issue: Active and live rodents in the attic and insulation contamination.

Cause: Live rodents.

Our Resolution:  Full attic insulation removal with vacuums. Air Sealed the entire attic system. Added mastic to one AC duct (was not sealed properly), added R49 Owens Corning ProPinkL77a. This was a completed attic refresh.
